Are You Really Addicted to World of Warcraft?
Maybe, I should change the name of this blog. Yes, I do play tons of WoW like everyone else but yet I feel somewhat tame whenever I compare myself with other players. Don’t get me wrong that really is a good thing. Anyway, the whole reason for this post was brought up after watching this video on YouTube.

The video is well put together but some of the questions that it raises can make you think. Obviously I do not believe it is Blizzard’s fault for having so many people addicted to WoW. When it comes to the younger audience (under 18) that plays I do believe if the parents would exercise some discipline that would help out in that situation.
What about the 20+ crowd?
Using common sense it seems that someone 20 and older would have enough responsibility to know that they can not possibly play World of Warcraft all day and all night. I am sadly mistaken. It seems that age group is more prone to becoming addicted.
Is World of Warcraft the new “legal drug”? Is the guy in the video an example of what it to come of WoW players? I know the video was supposed to be funny and not real but I believe it hits closer to home than most people think. What did his shirt say underneath the Nintendo controller?
What are some of your thoughts on this or on the video in general?
