Oh No!! Not Another Blizzard Game!
Gosh….after logging in today and realizing the last post I made on here was from April 5th I am lazy! Well, not really lazy…I just moved into a new house and what little time I had not working on the house I was playing….you guessed it….World of Warcraft. I bet that’s a big shocker!
Anyway enough about my laziness and more about Blizzard revealing a new game on May 19th in South Korea! Yeah, yeah….if you surf the ‘net for WoW about 2 minutes you come across tons of news about this.
Well, rehashed news about this as it has everyone going crazy. I personally don’t know if I can handle another great game from Blizzard. I’ve been there for all of them and now that I think about it have been playing Blizzard games for a long time (started with Warcraft 1).
Many people really think this will be the next Starcraft and a lot of places point to different things that might help their cause but the bottom line is no one will know until May 19th.
Diablo III, Starcraft 2, new Starcraft MMO….whatever will be the case I’m not really sure if it will have enough effect to drive me away from World of Warcraft.
More on Blizzard’s side of things….why are they releasing a new game that could potentially pull players away from World of Warcraft? If I was Blizzard I would have waited longer when it would appear that WoW was cooling off somewhat.
My take is it is just too early for a new Blizzard game but with the amount of profits brought in by WoW maybe they will be able to handle another hit.
What do you think about this? Is it too early for a new Blizzard game or am I just totally out in left field?
